    Forged steel gate valves usually have rising stem structure with one-piece body. The position of th stem helps

    in identifying whether the valve is in closed or open position. Since the forgings have perfect mechanical

    and chemical properties in comparison with castings, the forged gate valve is mainly used in high 

    pressure and high temperature services covering a small size range.
