Cast Iron DIN Flanged Type Butterfly Valve Technical Specification
1. Introduction to cast iron flanged type butterfly valve.
Flanged style are mainly applied to larger size cast iron butterfly valves(14" and larger) that have larger face-to-face dimensions, which are more apt to leak from thermal expansion. Usually flanged valve bodies can withstand the thermal expansion in some severe services such as high temperature, high pressure or fire sensitive applications. They have integral flanges on the body that match relative international standards: EN1092-1, DIN, JIS B2220, BS4504, or ASME B16.5, and ASME B16.1 etc.
